Mit regelmäßigen Einstufungen, Teilnahme an FDJ-"Werkstattwochen" u.ä. sicherte sich die Band eine solide und abgesicherte Karriere, die sie 1989 bis in den "Profi-Status" führte und eine Schallplattenproduktion ermöglichte. Erst durch "Wende" & Wiedervereinigung kam es zum Einbruch, wie bei fast allen ostdeutschen Bands, aber trotz des Ausstiegs von Leadgitarrist Uwe Klotz (tauchte 1997 bei den '''[[Screamz]]''' aus Luckenwalde wieder auf) gelang '''Biest''' noch eine längere erfolgreiche Phase als Live-Attraktion bei Festivals und Bikertreffen. Zwei Versuche in den 90ern, durch Demos Plattenverträge zu ergattern, scheiterten. 1999 löste sich die Band schließlich auf.<br />
