Daniel Trautwein war bei Bandgründung Keyboarder der Mühlhäuser Gothic-Band '''[[Tatmotiv Angst]]''', Jens Gräbedünkel deren Manager. Mit den selbstbetriebenen Labels ''Susann Records'' und ''Paradize Noize Records'' promotete Jens weitere lokale Bands dieses Genres wie '''[[Edenfeld]]''' und '''[[The Caine]]'''. Hierdurch entstand der Kontakt und die spätere intensive Zusammenarbeit mit dem Schweizer Electronics-Musiker & Produzenten [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Per%C3%B3n Carlos Perón] (der von 1997 bis 2002 sogar als Bandmitglied bezeichnet wurde), sowie Lothar Gärtner, dem Gründer des wichtigen deutschen Darkwave-Labels ''[https://taz.de/!1696768/ Strange Ways Records]'' (Bremen). Die von Jens betreuten Gruppen konnten Veröffentlichungen auf ''Strange Ways'' wie auch auf den von Gärtner gegründeten Sub-Labels ''Dark Star'', ''Himmelpforten'' (zusammen mit Perón) und ''Phantasmagoria'' platzieren. Dazu kamen Gastauftritte von Musikern szene-verwandter Bands wie '''Catastrophe Ballet''', '''[https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Pitchfork Project Pitchfork]''' und '''[[Dreadful Shadows]]''' / '''[[Zeraphine]]''' (Sven Friedrich).<br>Durch & nach dem Tod von Lothar Gärtner (4. Dezember 2005) kamen auch die Bandaktivitäten von '''Carnival Of Dreams''' zum Erliegen.<br />
