Das Label Killjoy Records wird von Anna, Kopf & Seele der Band, betrieben. Weitere, parallel betriebene Bands waren die Rickety Kids (2010 bis 2013?) und die Deathsurf-Combo Black Lagoon (ca. 2012 bis 2017).
Im Frühjahr 2018 wurde eine unbestimmte Retarded Rats Bandpause verkündet.
