The Art Of The Legendary Tishvaisings

Band aus Leipzig, 1988 bis 1991.

Gegründet als The Tishvaisings, ab 1990 The Legendary Tishvaisings, und schließlich The Art Of The Legendary Tishvaisings. Joey und Gogo waren in dieser Zeit auch involviert in die Leipziger Crossover-Projekte The Act und 625-12P.

1992 Transformation in zwei parallele Bands: D.O.D. (Death On Doomsday) und Think About Mutation ((tam)). Letztere erwiesen sich als das langlebigere und auch international erfolgreiche Projekt, supporteten in Deutschland u.a. Godflesh, Moby, The Sisters Of Mercy und Depeche Mode (!).

Nach dem Ende von Think About Mutation (2002 Ausstieg Donis und Kay / 2003 Split) gründete Joey A. Vaising zusammen mit ((tam))-Keyboarder Gräfe zunächst Born Cool (Split Februar 2005), schließlich 2006 The Sonic Boom Foundation.

Bassist Gogo Vaising spielt ab 2003 als Mikrowelle Gitarre und veröffentlicht im selben Jahr das Album "Twang Boom Tschak...Peng" (Kamikaze Rec./Exil On Mainstream. 2005 gründet sich die Bluesrock Band Krieger mit ihm am Bass. Seit 2008 ist er Livegitarrist bei Rummelsnuff. 2009 stieg er bei den neu gegründeten Freunden der italienischen Oper ein, bei denen er bereits 2004 für ein Sonderkonzert gespielt hatte.

Gründungs-Sänger Schwarwel erfand als Comic-Zeichner bereits vor den Tishvaisings den legendären "Schweinevogel" und wurde ab 1993 als Art Director der wiedervereinigten Ärzte bekannt, mit Bela B. gründete er zudem den Comic-Verlag "Extrem Erfolgreich Enterprises (EEE)", drehte als Regisseur Musikvideos und schuf so manche CD & LP Hülle diverser "anderer" Bands.

Ach ja, und Gitarrengott Joey's wilder Nachwuchs Vic Vaising versorgte mit den Lipstix von 2003 bis 2010 eine dynamisch wachsende Fangemeinde mit turbogetriebenem Mädels-Pink'n Roll.
